Cosmin

Independent developer and writer behind Red Flag Run

Cosmin is the independent creator of Red Flag Run. It is a one-person project: he created the browser game, wrote the code, shaped the art direction, and wrote the Field Guide, Daily Quiz and field notes that connect the jokes on the track to patterns people meet in real dating.

What he makes

The playable half is an original 3D endless runner about dodging named dating red flags and collecting healthier signals. The written half turns that same curriculum into long-form explainers, practical scripts, safety checklists and source notes. You can play the game or read the Field Guide independently; neither requires an account.

How the research is handled

When a guide makes a research-backed claim, it links to published relationship research, an established research institution or an official fraud and safety source. Romance-fraud and sextortion pages prioritise sources such as consumer-protection agencies, law-enforcement reporting and the official tools readers may need. Opinion and house judgement are written as such, not dressed up as a study.

The full rules for sourcing, updates, language and corrections are public in the editorial standards.

Limits, stated plainly

Cosmin is not presented as a psychologist, counsellor, lawyer or law-enforcement professional. Red Flag Run is dating satire and literacy for adults: educational entertainment, not professional counselling, legal advice, a diagnosis of another person or a safety guarantee. Sensitive guides point readers to the relevant official reporting or emergency routes.

Corrections and contact

If a claim is wrong, a source has gone stale, or a passage blames the person it is meant to help, email hello@playredflagrun.com or use the contact and corrections page. Substantive corrections update the article’s modified date.
